Second Sunday Strolls, Seattle (ongoing)

Rain or shine, no RSVP needed! If you are interested in walking with fellow pilgrims, consider joining the Puget Sound Pilgrims for Second Sunday Strolls—a walk in the park. The Strolls are designed as either a 3 mile or a 6 mile walk from the Ballard Locks to Discovery Park, around the park and back. If you want to walk six miles, we'll meet at 1:00 PM at the entrance to the Ballard (aka Chittenden) Locks, and depart at 1:15 PM sharp for a stroll over to Discovery Park. If you want to walk only three miles, then join us at Discovery Park. We'll arrive at the main visitor center and meet by the drinking fountain at around 1:35 PM. We'll then leave from the visitor center at 1:45 PM on a 3 mile loop. The pace will be not too fast, not too slow—probably around 2 miles per hour. But slow enough for good conversation!

Fourth Friday Coffee and Chat, Seattle (ongoing)

The Fourth Friday Coffee Chat meets at the Burger Master Restaurant near University Village in Seattle, WA. Past and future pilgrims are invited to join us for stimulating conversation and a beverage. It's a great chance for newbies to ask questions of experienced pilgrims and for the experienced pilgrims to get some great ideas for their next walk.

The address is 3040 NE 45th St., Seattle, WA 98105. Note that it is not within University Village. Rather, it is located near the Safeway Store located on NE 45th Street. We shall be there every fourth Friday of the month from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.

Second Thursday South Sound Coffee and Chats, Tacoma (ongoing)

A coffee and chat group will be meeting second Thursdays at Cutters Point Coffee Company (in the back room) 2209 North Pearl Street, Tacoma. Meetings begin at 9:30 am and usually last about 2 hours. The purpose of these gatherings is to give experienced pilgrims a chance to share their Camino and for new pilgrims to ask questions in preparation for their Camino. If you have a guide book or a map, you might want to bring it as a reference.

South Sound Coffee and Chats are hosted by Doug Kerr. Questions can be addressed to Doug at cessford98@gmail.com. No need to RSVP. Just come!
