The Old Pueblo Chapter of American Pilgrims is centered in Tucson, Arizona. This chapter covers the southern area of the state including Green Valley, Marana, Oro Valley, Corona de Tucson and Vail.
The purpose of local chapters is to keep members connected to the Camino and to introduce new people to it.
- To support the goals of American Pilgrims on the Camino
- To encourage membership in the parent organization
- To provide opportunities for pilgrims, past, present and future to gather and to hold events related to and promoting the Camino de Santiago
- To mentor future pilgrims
- To hopefully serve as a local host for hospitalero training in the southern Arizona
The chapter will be hosting hikes, guest speakers, member presentations, pilgrim mentoring sessions, basic Spanish lessons for use on the Camino, potluck lunches/dinners, wine tastings and much more!
These may be listed here but you will want to check the Events calendar for events that may be of interest.
Contact chapter coordinators Sharon Fields and Dave Combs at OldPueblo@americanpilgrims.org for more information or to be added to the chapter email list.
