Prairie Oaks Metro Park, 3225 Plain City-Georgesville Road, West Jefferson, OH. Eastern Time Zone Meet at the Whispering Oaks Picnic Area. This area can be reached by taking Exit 85 (West Jefferson/Plain City/Rt 142 Exit) off of 70 W. Go north on Rt 142 (Georgesville-Plain City Rd) about a 1/2 mile to a mile, the entrance will be on the right (east side of 142). Drive to the back to reach the Whispering Oaks Picnic Area. There is a shelterhouse and there are pit toilets. There are NOT any water fountains in this park. PLEASE BRING SUFFICIENT WATER for yourself! You will likely want to bring some sun protection as well.
