Join Chapter member Megan Downey for a 6 mile out-and-back hike at Fountainhead Regional Park. It will be an easy-moderate hike on a well-groomed trail. Trail shoes are fine. Bring hiking poles, if you want the practice, water and snacks, and dress for the weather. The hike will take 2.5 -3 hours. Restrooms are available a short walk from the parking lot. No pets please. Free parking and entry (The trailhead and parking lot are before the main gate of the park). Parking lot is past the archery range/shooting center (on your left after you enter the park), to the right at the y-intersection, past the garbage dumpsters. It is the first large parking lot you will get to on your right.
