Meet at the Whispering Oaks Picnic Area. This area can be reached by taking Exit 85 (West Jefferson/Plain City/Rt 142 Exit) off of 70 W. Go north on Rt 142 (Georgesville-Plain City Rd) about a 1/2 mile to a mile, the entrance will be on the right (east side of 142). Drive to the back to reach the Whispering Oaks Picnic Area. There is a shelterhouse and there are pit toilets.
There are NOT any water fountains in this park. PLEASE BRING SUFFICIENT WATER for yourself! You will likely want to bring some sun protection as well.
Highbanks Metro Park, 9466 Columbus Pike (US Rt 23 N), Lewis Center, OH 43035. (https://www.metroparks.net/parks-and-trails/highbanks/) Big Meadows Picnic Area, meet at shelter beside a small swing set (Keep driving to back of park. We are meeting at the small shelter on the left as the road curves, beside the small swing set (NOT the large playground near the bathrooms)) Look for Camino signs.
