The Raleigh Chapter of American Pilgrims covers Raleigh, NC and the surrounding area.
Broadly stated, the purpose of this local chapter is to keep members connected to the Camino and to introduce new people to the phenomenon. We plan to accomplish this in a number of ways, such as social events, hikes, mentoring future pilgrims and serving as a local host for hospitalero training through American Pilgrims.
The chapter will be scheduling local hikes, talks, potlucks, a lending library of Camino related books, and more!
These may be listed here but you will want to check the Events calendar for events that may be of interest.
Contact chapter coordinators Martha Hayes, John Saxon and Grace Bunemann at Raleigh@americanpilgrims.org for more information or to be added to the chapter email list.
If you're not on our email list you can send us an email and ask to be added! You'll automatically receive event notices and won't miss anything that way.
As of March 2017, under American Pilgrims' Insurance Guidelines, dogs are not allowed on our group hikes. Naturally, certified service dogs are always allowed.
Email us at Raleigh@americanpilgrims.org to find out what we're up to!
