Reno, NV :Lake Tahoe Chapter, Monthly Truckee River Walk

Meet at the pedestrian bridge next to Wingfield Park at the intersection of West 1st Street and Stevenson Street. There is a large metal artwork of a butterfly at this location. There is limited free parking on the south side next to Barbara Bennett Park. The north side of 1st Street also has some parking places, but they are metered.

We will walk west along the Truckee River on Riverside Drive, to Idlewild Park and return to start point at the butterfly artwork. This is an easy social walk. Spokane, WA: Spokane Chapter, Bluebird Trail Hike and Coffee Chat

Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge: Drive to the headquarters parking area and trailhead. Look for the American Pilgrims sign in the parking lot before we depart.

5.2 mile walk on the Bluebird Trail (150ft elevation gain). The trail passes Kepple Lake and wanders through forest areas, as well as part of the trail on the auto route. Tucson, AZ: Old Pueblo Chapter, Sabino Canyon Night Walk

Sabino Canyon Recreation area, 5700 N Sabino Canyon Road, Tucson, AZ 85750. We meet under the southern ramada adjacent to the parking lot.

This is a 7 1/2 mile (round trip) walk. We reach an elevation of about 700 feet. We make a brief stop at the top to rest and snack, before heading back. Bring a sufficient amount of water to stay hydrated, and a snack for energy.
