5.2 mile walk on the Bluebird Trail (150ft elevation gain). The trail passes Kepple Lake and wanders through forest areas, as well as part of the trail on the auto route. Restrooms available at the trailhead. Normally there is an entrance fee, but it is free in November. We hope to meet up around 9:15 and depart at 9:30. It is recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, jacket, water, snack, and poles if you wish. As it is a birding area, you may also want to bring binoculars.

We have found many pilgrims like to visit after the hike – encouraged but certainly not required!! To help facilitate this, we will plan to meet at around 12:30 at the Mason Jar Cafe (101 F Street, Cheney, WA).
