Join this conversational pace walk on the East side of South Mountain. Weekends are busy at this popular park so we will PARK AT RUSTLER’S ROOST. Like on the Camino, we will walk some pavement through a quiet neighborhood (.7 mi) to the entrance to Pima Canyon Entrance to South Mountain Park and then walk along the Maricopa Trail (.6 mi) to the trailhead option along the walk. From this trailhead we will walk the fire road (.7 mi) and connect to Beverly Canyon trail/Pima Canyon Loop (1.6 mi) which will take us back to Rustler’s Roost.
Bring your camp chair and indicate if you would like coffee after the hike and we can relax and ease into the weekend talking about the Camino.
