Join us for a beautiful fall hike through North Cheyenne Cañon and Stratton Open Space as we enjoy some of the final fall colors of the season. We will follow the Columbine and Spring Creek trails toward Gold Camp Road, then take Gold Camp Path and connect with the Chamberlin Trail through Stratton Open Space.
This moderate hike will be approximately 5–6 miles with around 1,000 ft. of elevation gain. Expect a mix of forested trails, rocky sections, and steady climbing and descending. Good hiking shoes or boots are recommended. October mornings in the canyon can be chilly, so bring layers, plenty of water, a snack, and sunscreen.
Be sure to sign-up for the hike, as the weather can have dramatic changes this time of year and we may need to change the date of the hike.
If you are a 1st time pilgrim leaving for Camino in 2026, be sure to note this on the Sign-Up form, to receive a “mini-shell” ceremony. (Donativos are much appreciated to help us defray our costs. Thank you.)
After the hike, join us for an optional tertulia at Sacred Ground Café, where we can enjoy coffee, food, and conversation together.
Remember: No dogs allowed per American Pilgrims policy…..
