Westerville, OH: Central Ohio Chapter, Santiago Brunch and Blendon Woods Metropark Hike

Join us in Blendon Woods Metropark in the first parking lot behind ranger station – turn right and then left into lot – for coffee, tea and bagels then a hike through Blendon Woods Metropark. We will be at small shelter/picnic area with the fireplace/chimney, on the backside of the parking lot. There is the option of a 4 mile hike or a 1.6 mile loop. The gravel and dirt trails are mostly shaded with with gentle ascents and descents. There are some uneven surfaces and a few stairs so wear appropriate footwear. You may want to bring water bottle and bug spray. Restrooms throughout park. Ample free parking. In celebration of St. James Feast Day (July 25) you may want to wear your pilgrim hat or carry your scallop shell!
