George Washington National Forest, VA: Shenandoah Chapter, High Knob Hike

Meet at High Knob Hike Trailhead at 1pm EDT. From Harrisonburg, head 22 miles west on Rt. 33 into the George Washington National Forest. Park at the lot just beyond the crest of Shenandoah Mountain, about a half mile past Switzer Lake.
Please join us for a 3-mile out-and-back hike with gorgeous views. While relatively short, the hike has a 600 ft elevation gain along with some larger boulders to navigate near the beginning of the trail. We will meet at the trailhead parking lot at 1pm.
