Directions: North Mountain Visitors Center at 12950 N 7th St is off of 7th Street in Phoenix - between Thunderbird (Go South 1/2 mile) and Northern (Go North 3.4 miles). Meet at the benches by the restrooms.

Directions: Pima Canyon Trailhead (4500 E Pima Canyon Rd, Phoenix 85044). From I-10 exit Baseline Rd and go West to Pointe Parkway. Take the first exit from the roundabout to continue on Pointe Parkway. At the second round about take the 3rd exit (essentially going around the roundabout to the left side) and past the light at Guadalupe. Take the first right onto 48th St and then an immediate left at the park entrance near the golf tee. Drive to trailhead parking lot.
This hike is a mix of easy (2 miles), moderate (2 mile) and difficult (.5 miles) terrain to give you a sense of how your body (and gear) respond over the different grades you will encounter on the Camino. In addition, this hike features 6 areas of Petroglyphs from the Hohokam Indians – all within…
