HIKE DESCRIPTION
The paved East and West sections of Washington Rotary Riverfront Trail twist through river bottom ground and prairies, and offer scenic views of the Missouri River and the Highway 47 river bridge. Trails are rated easy.
Depending on heat/weather and based on group speed/mood, we may opt to do both the East and West trails (total of 5 miles), or just do a portion. We will make a hike-day decision.
Special thanks to Chip Myers for leading this hike.
GATHERING SPOT
Washington Riverfront Trail Flag Plaza
1 Elbert Dr
Washington MO 63090
Restrooms available at each end of trails. Benches and overlooks are found along both trails.

AFTER-HIKE PICNIC + POOL PARTY
Following our hike, we will head to Co-coordinator Joette Reidy’s home for a picnic lunch and pool party. Each pilgrim is responsible for bringing their own picnic meal; this is not a potluck picnic. Bring your swimwear and a towel, and consider bringing a pop-up lawn chair for additional seating.
We will share Joette’s address with those at the hike. If you are unable to make the hike but wish to join us poolside, please email us at StLouis@AmericanPilgrims.org
