Tempe, AZ: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Tempe Town Lake Walk

Much of the Camino is on paved surfaces or walking through towns. This Tempe Town Lake walk is a great simulation of a typical morning – like walking into or out of Burgos along the scenic route. We can decide if we want to include the short ‘A’ Mountain for fun (or to say that we have done it.) This walk, like the Camino, is a rain or shine walk and we will gather at Press Coffee for a cortado or cafe con leche after the hike.

BRING: Sturdy walking shoes, water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, money or your own snacks/lunch if desired.
Total distance: 3.5 miles easy (no shade)

Elevation gain: Minimal but we can add ‘A’ Mountain

Time: ~ 2 hours (leisurely pace)
