Join us for our first participation on the “Kindness Project” started by Megan Murphy. The idea is to paint words of encouragement and cute pictures on rocks, then randomly place them for strangers to find or hand to someone needing to smile, something we see and find on the Camino that truly makes us smile and inspires us to keep going. Pilgrims also bring a stone from home to leave at the Cruz de Ferro where they lay there burden and prayer requests.

Michael Keniston is the uncle to Krystal Catalano one of our experienced pilgrims. He is the administrator of the ‘Dunedin Rocks’ group. His work has been displayed in the Safety Harbor Museum during their rock art and neon exhibits. Although Michael has never hiked the Camino, he has been gracious enough to volunteer his time and lead us with his expertise in “Camino” rock painting.

POT LUCK LUNCH – bring something to share and after we can take a walk down to the beach and back!

RSVP is required for this event, and a small fee to cover rocks and all the creative supplies needed for your very own work of rock art of $10 per person. Please RSVP by 02/26/22 to ensure your spot.
