St. Petersburg, FL: Tampa Bay Chapter, Weedon IslandHike

Where: Weedon Island Preserve 1800 Weedon Drive NE; St. Petersburg, FL 33702 We will meet in the parking lot at the Cultural and Natural History Center.
When: Meet 8:30 am, start hiking at 9:00am EST
Lunch: When we return, those who would like to stick around, we will find a place to stop and eat, so bring a bag lunch.
Length: about 5 miles
Difficulty and Distance: Easy, a mainly flat trail, some paved and sand trails and boardwalk..
Gear: Please wear the comfortable hiking clothes and shoes, trekking poles, plenty of water, bug spray, hat, sunscreen. There is a bathroom at the cultural and Natural History Center.
