St. Louis MO: St. Louis Chapter, Urban Walk, Potluck + My Favorite Camino Gear Show & Tell

Fernando Vigil will lead us on an urban walk in the area surrounding the school where he teaches. We’ll return to the school building to gather for a potluck meal. While we eat, we welcome attendees to step forward to share a piece of gear they couldn’t do without on their Camino.

About the walk itself:

This easy urban walk will start at Loyola Academy.

Depending on the weather, we will walk between 3-4 miles — passing the Fox Theater, walking throughout the Saint Louis University campus, including a visit to the St. Francis Xavier College Church (built in 1888 by the Jesuits as Saint Louis University’s spiritual center), around the lake on the east side of campus, through the west side of campus passing the Cupples House and clock tower, and more. Along the way, we’ll see how the SLU campus connects with the city, while giving students a walkable, real-world view of St. Louis.
