Saint James Celebration at Saint Mary’s College. You will have the opportunity to choose from multiple daily walks, inspirational Camino speakers and authors, learn new hiking tips from an exercise physiologist, podiatrist, and certified backpack fitter. The theme is “Journeys of the heart”. There will be daily options for yoga, meditation, reflection and sharing your Camino inspirations to the whole group and small groups. There will be meaningful volunteer community service opportunities. There will be singing and dancing and yes even flamenco lessons and performances. You will even enjoy some Spanish cuisine.
Your lodging is in a historic French style century old dormitory. You will be on the campuses of the all-women’s Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana.
Single rooms or double upon request, shared shower and bathrooms.
On the feast day of Saint James Friday July 25th, there will be a special service in Notre Dame’s historic Sacred Heart Basilica.
