San Marcos, CA: San Diego Chapter, Double Peak Park Hike

Join us on a 5-mile walk from Double Peak Park in San Marcos. We’ll enjoy panoramic views during this moderate hike, followed by an optional lunch at SETS Kitchen & Bar.
Date: Saturday, March 29 from 8:15am to 12pm
Parking and meeting point: Double Peak Park, 900 Double Peak Drive, San Marcos, CA 92078. There is plenty of free parking at the top of the hill in the overlook area. We will meet in front of the restrooms.
Meet time: 8:15am
Hike begins: 8:30am
Route description: We will take the path down the hill to the trail entrance. There are several hills, but at a leisurely pace they should be no problem. There is not much shade, so a hat and sun protection are recommended.
Optional lunch: 11pm at SETS Kitchen & Bar, 1628 San Elijo Road, San Marcos 92078.
