Description: The Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Pilgrims on the Camino is hosting a Saturday afternoon gathering for some discussion and sharing of Spanish and Portuguese wines and tappas. This gathering is also an opportunity to share personal Camino experiences, information and questions amongst attendees, whether an experienced Camino traveler or novice. Attendees are asked to bring something to share, either: 1) a bottle of Spanish or Portuguese wine (red or white), OR 2) a Spanish tappas dish. We’ll have a short discussion/description of Spanish wines and growing regions, what they are known for, etc. Attendees can enjoy the available wines and tappas, and discuss our shared interest in Camino related topics. Some non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
Everyone who has an interest in the Camino de Santiago is welcome to participate in this SV Chapter event; whether you are an American Pilgrims member or not, whether you are on our SV chapter email list or not – everyone is welcome.
To help us better prepare for this gathering, please register on the our site, and sign up to bring either a bottle of wine or tappas, to share. For those bringing tappas, plan for serving size of 8-10.
