San Diego, CA: San Diego Chapter, Carmel Valley Walk and Wine Tasting

Location: Highland Valley Trail Head, San Diego, CA 92128

Parking: There is plenty of parking at the trailhead. Unfortunately, no bathrooms, so plan to use the restroom before you go and/or stop on the drive up.

Route description: We’ll follow the natural path that loosely follows Highland Valley Road. There is very little shade on this route, so best to wear a hat and bring plenty of water.

Wine: After the walk, we’ll take an 8-minute drive to Mia Marie Winery, offering sweeping hilltop views and tasty wine. If you can’t make the walk but would like to join us at the winery, we’ll be there right at noon when they open.
