San Antonio, TX: Alamo Chapter, Hardberger Park and Salado Creek Walk

Join your pilgrim friends for a moderate 5-6 mile walk through Hardberger Park and Salado Creek, followed by optional coffee at Coffee + Culture.

• Meet time: 7:45am at Voelcker Historic Homestead parking lot: 1021 Voelcker Lane, San Antonio 78248
• Walk begins: 8am
• Route description: The Howard W. Peak Greenway Trail system is a network of approximately 65 miles of trails that wind through natural landscapes along many of San Antonio’s waterways. One of those waterway trails, the Salado Creek Greenway trail, runs through Phil Hardberger Park and connects to the network of trails in the park. There are two trailheads in Phil Hardberger Park. We’ll meet in the parking lot of the Voelcker Homestead Trailhead (1021 Voelcker Lane). Portable restrooms are located in the parking lot. The walk will be a combination of natural and paved trails, including the Water Loop and Geology Trails that connect to the Salado Creek Greenway trail system.
