San Antonio, TX: Alamo Chapter, Friedrich Wilderness Park Hike

Join hike leader, Nerissa Muniz, for a 5-mile hike: Main Loop to Vista to Restoration.

Meet at Pavilion at 7:45am, take off at 8am. Wear shoes with traction, as terrain is uneven and there are many rocks. Expect the most incline / climbing in the first mile, from about .5m to 1m. After that, it’s more flat and peaceful.

Remember all your stuff: water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, personal first aid kit, trekking poles — all the normal things you usually take on a hike. Restrooms and water are available at the park entrance, but not on the trail.
