OUR SECOND ANNUAL SAN ANTONIO URBAN HIKE/CAMP OUT & SHELL CEREMONY
Join the Tampa Bay American Pilgrims for a 4-mile urban/trail hike through San Antonio, FL, on March 12, 2022. Co-hosted by the gracious Rozzane Waldo Ritter and Cary Ritter, we will also be having a Shell Ceremony for all those leaving on Pilgrimage.
Hike will start at 8:30am.
Note you do not have to attend campout to participate in the hike.
Bring your hiking gear, food/water.
MEET IN THE GAZEBO in the Southwest corner of the City Park. There is parking available all around San Antonio City Park, 12231 Main St, San Antonio, FL 33576.
We will be making some stops at some local churches and a coffee shop like Starbucks (so bring some cash).
Optional: Those who would like to camp (Trailer or tents) overnight on March 11, can do so.
Please contact Sandra Ceballos for the address to park your trailer or pitch your tent.
Volunteers need to prepare Paellas, Salad and Desserts – Cost $15.00 per person, bring your own beverages.
Sites along the Way: 2 Catholic Churches, grotto, cafe serving coffee like Starbucks, St. Leo University Campus, Market, hills, bridge, sidewalks, streets, lake and city park.
If you have questions about the Camino, come and meet with fellow past or future pilgrims to talk about the Camino and learn from experienced individuals.
Covid 19 guidelines- if you have been around anyone that has tested positive, or if you are not feeling well, please do not attend. Bring a mask so that we can interact at a safe social distance.
No Dogs permitted per American Pilgrims National Guidelines.
