Have you ever wondered what it would be like to volunteer on the Camino? Curious about your responsibilities? Or how hard you work? Do you get any free time? Where do you sleep? Do you get to/have to cook for your pilgrims? Is it FUN? If you’ve ever wondered and are interested in understanding more … now is the opportunity to find out from our very own, very experienced Sac Pilgrims!!

Our guest speakers for the evening have a wealth of experience to share and will share their volunteer service on several Camino routes – the Frances, the Via de la Plata, the Argones, and the Via Francigena. As well we will have someone who will share her unique experience of working in the Pilgrims Office in St. Jean Pied de Port.

Daily chores, free time, preparing meals, interactions with pilgrims – these might all vary depending upon where you volunteer. No two volunteer assignments are the same! And, like walking the Camino, every day of serving is unlike the day before it.

So, if you have ever thought about serving – or have wondered what it is really like behind the scenes of a working albergue or the Pilgrims Office – come on out for this evening of “Volunteering on the Camino!”

We look forward to seeing you!
