Hike the scenic Gordons Pond trail with views of wetlands, a large pond, World War 2 towers, and the ocean. Birds are plentiful and we have a great chance of seeing eagles, blue herons and other shorebirds. The trail consists of finely crushed gravel and an elevated boardwalk. We will meet for the hike at Gordons Pond parking lot in Cape Henlopen State Park at 10:30am. Bring your lunch and we can picnic at the State Park. Access the Gordons Pond Trail at the north end of Rehoboth Beach via Ocean Drive. It is still fee season at Delaware State Parks so you can either use your state parks pass or pay the daily fee.
