Prior Lake, MN: Minnesota Chapter, 4 Days, 4 Hikes!

Wake, walk, eat and repeat! For those wanting a taste of what spending days on the Camino trail might feel like, join Bob Nistler, Andrea Sebenaler and Chuck Johnson as we carve our way through four of the Twin Cities’ most beautiful parks on four consecutive days. Each day’s walk will begin at 9AM and be 10 – 15k (7-9 miles) in length. Those training for an upcoming Camino in 2026 are encouraged to wear their backpack, weighted however you deem appropriate. Carry plenty of water and a snack. If you cannot participate every day of this four-day event, no worries; Join us those days that you are able.
Today we will explore Murphy Hanrehan Park Reserve near Prior Lake. We will meet at the Horse Trailer Parking Lot off Sunset Lake Road. The walk will feature modest elevation changes on mostly dirt and wood chipped trails. There are toilets and a picnic area at the meeting place.
