ADDRESS: 410 N. Lake St, Port Washington, WI 53074 (Ozaukee County). Meet at the bandshell! A map of the park vicinity and bandshell location is HERE: (https://maps.app.goo.gl/JZDU6LBexkKNUKP47).

THE HIKE: Approximate walking distance is 2.25 miles from the bandshell out to the lighthouse, then around Rotary Park and the Marina.

If you’d like to walk further, we can go to Coal Dock Park, the Avian Sanctuary, South Beach, and back. This will be another 2+ miles.

The majority of our hike is on cement and asphalt. The path around the Avian Sanctuary is gravel, and it’s sand on the beach. There are no hills. All this said, feel free to bring poles.

PARKING/FACILITIES: Free parking (no sticker required) is available just behind the bandshell, along N. Lake St, and also across the street. Restrooms are near the bandshell. There are picnic tables nearby for our tapas and drinks after the hike.

WHAT TO BRING: Tapas or wine/other drinks to share. We will provide the plates, forks, cups, and napkins.

SOMETHING EXTRA: A Beer Garden with live music, food, and drinks is just up the hill on the bluffs overlooking the lake and port. It’s open until 8 pm if you’d like to check it out after our hike!
