Plymouth, MA: Boston Chapter, Potluck and Burial Hill Tour

We are excited to announce a Potluck and Burial Hill Tour for the Boston Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino! Join us for a special private group tour of Burial Hill in Plymouth (Tour starts at 11 am, see more below). Following the tour, we will have an afternoon of delicious food, shared stories, and camaraderie as we celebrate our journeys and community.

Burial Hill Tour Information:
To participate in the tour there is a $5 per person fee, the tour is approximately 1 hour. Located at the heart of downtown Plymouth, Burial Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site of the Mayflower Pilgrims’ fort, the Hill has been used as a burying ground since the 17th century. Over 2,000 headstones and monuments dating from 1681 to 1957 survive, providing records of the lives of Plymoutheans across three centuries. In partnership with Pilgrim Hall Museum, the Antiquarian Society presents in-person tours of Burial Hill. Our guide Joyce will give us an overview of Burial Hill, pointing out some of the better-known graves and stories. Please plan to arrive around 10:15 at 22 Davis St, Plymouth. We will walk as a group to Burial Hill, a half-mile walk, which takes about 12 minutes, after the tour we will walk back to 22 Davis Street.

If you do not wish to attend the tour but do want to attend the potluck please plan to arrive at 22 Davis Street, around 12:30 – 12:45. During the event, we will have a shell ceremony for pilgrims getting ready to go on Camino for the first time.

Please bring a dish to share, all Boston Chapter pilgrims are welcome, along with their family and friends!
Also, there is seating but please bring a folding chair if you have one. Let’s make this event a memorable one!

Lastly, please RSVP for the tour. If you are only attending the Potluck please send us an email or message so we can have an accurate count for the tour.
