🏞 February Hike at FD Roosevelt State Park
Led by: Shawn and Cindy Swafford

Join us for our February hike at FD Roosevelt State Park — Georgia’s largest state park, featuring over 10,000 acres of natural beauty and nearly 40 miles of scenic trails!

We’ll explore the Overlook Loop Trail, a 3.4-mile route that offers flexibility for hikers of all levels. Our planned route includes a walk down to the CCC Hatchery, with an option to continue toward the campground area before looping back to the main trail and returning along the opposite side of the road. There’s plenty of opportunity to adjust your distance — turn around whenever you’d like!

Meeting Point & Parking:
We’ll meet near the flagpole across the street from Callaway Gardens Country Store and Kitchen on Highway 190, just south of the Callaway Gardens entrance.
👉 Please note: Do not park in the Country Store lot, as parking there is reserved for their customers. There is ample parking across the street where we will gather.

Come enjoy a beautiful day on the trails with great company and fresh mountain air! 🌲
