MEET: G.R. Herberger Park parking lot at 5802 E Indian School Road, 85018. Look for the Camino shell flag for the specific meeting spot in the parking area. The parking lot fills quickly, you may need to utilize street parking and walk back to the meeting place. There is a rest room available near the parking lot.

ABOUT THIS WALK: While the Camino de Santiago is generally the topic of conversation on all our hikes, this stroll is specifically targeted to those who are still trying to learn about the Camino and decide if they can/want to do it.

We will walk 2 miles/3.2K, level and easy via the Arizona Canal Trail from G.R. Herberger Park to the Solari Bridge in Scottsdale. We will stop for coffee near the Bridge (probably at Olive & Ivy), sitting outside so dress accordingly. After coffee and chat we will walk the same 2M/3.2K returning to our vehicles. In addition to coffee, the area around Solari Bridge has restrooms, drinking water, and limited foods available.

BRING: Water, walking shoes, money/credit card for coffee, and layers as we will sit outside for coffee & conversation.
