The Dreamy Draw trailhead is at 2421 E Northern Ave. From the 51 - Exit Northern Ave and drive EAST. The road ends in the parking lot. The Shell ceremony will be in one of the Ramadas after the walk.

This is the second of four 10+ mile walks designed to help you dial in your gear and body in preparation for a Camino. You will learn a lot by walking two 10 miles hikes back to back.

A portion of every Camino includes walking on pavement so this walk will do loops along the Dreamy Draw Bike Path. We will start at the Ramadas and walk North until it ends at 32nd Street. We will then turn around until it ends at the 51. Repeat. Then walk back to 32nd Street and return to the Ramadas for 10 miles and then Second Breakfast and a Shell Ceremony. While this is a concrete path, there are sections with a nice gravel shoulder should you want to give your feet a break. We will also pass the bathroom & water stations every 1-2 miles.

If you decide to bring your poles on this stroll, you will have an opportunity to practice pole etiquette and definitely use
tips for your poles to muffle the sound of your pole on the payment.

Shell Ceremony – After the hike stay for a Potluck 2nd breakfast and a Shell Ceremony where a blessing will be bestowed on all outgoing pilgrims as part of an ancient tradition and of support for your journey. Read more about it under the More Information Tab.
