Meeting Place: Road Runner Park, 3502 E Cactus Rd, Phoenix AZ 85032 (SR51 & Cactus Rd). We’ll be at one of the Ramada's on the EAST side of the park, close to 36th Street. We recommend you park along 36th Street. Look for our bright Camino yellow tablecloth and our Valley of the Sun banner.

Meet fellow pilgrims for coffee and Camino talk followed by a Shell Ceremony. Everyone is invited to this event to share the excitement of new pilgrims setting off on their Camino and wish them Buen Camino.

A Shell Ceremony is also scheduled for July 22 for pilgrims leaving later in 2023.

This meet-up coincides with one of the best Farmer’s Markets in the Valley and is worth the trip. Foods, beverages, plants, crafts, and more are available at the market from 8-12.

Bring your own coffee from home, we will have coffee for refills and snacks available. Items to share are welcome and appreciated.

Departing pilgrims – include in the comments you are departing for a summer pilgrimage to ensure we have sufficient tokens available for the Shell Ceremony. Please bring your family or friends to share in this event where you will receive a blessing and token from our chapter.

All our hikes and activities are planned & led by volunteers. Donations (donativos) are appreciated and support our chapter activities.
