Phoenix, AZ: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Canal Stroll – GR Herberger Park to Soleri Bridge

While the Camino de Santiago is generally the topic of conversation on all our hikes, this stroll is specifically targeted to those who are still trying to learn about the Camino and decide if they can/want to do it.

We will walk 2 miles level and easy via the Arizona Canal Trail from G.R. Herberger Park to the Soleri Bridge in Scottsdale. We will stop for coffee near the Bridge at Olive & Ivy, sitting outside so dress accordingly. After coffee and chat we will walk the same 2M returning to our vehicles. In addition to coffee, the area around Soleri Bridge has restrooms, drinking water, and limited foods available.
