Phoenix, AZ: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Arcadia Arizona Canal Walk

This is the final long walk in the series of Are You Ready and is a great opportunity to gage your preparations for the Camino this spring or simply enjoy the company of fellow pilgrims. We will walk east and see the historic Arizona Falls along the canal and then on to Little O’s Arcadia Market (in case you didn’t get your morning cafe).

We will then turn around and walk east to the Scottsdale Waterfront and visit the Soleri Bridge before turning around and returning to the parking area. The canal path makes it convenient to make the walk as long or as short as you would like so join us for a few miles or for all of them. Wear your pack and favorite gear on this leisurely walk from Arcadia area of Phoenix to Scottsdale Waterfront.
The terrain simulates the Meseta – flat and no shade but nice place for conversation.

BRING: Sturdy walking shoes, water (at least 2 liters), a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, money or your own snacks/lunch if desired.

Please stay home if you are sick or not feeling well. No dogs due to chapter liability.

All hikes and events are lead by chapter volunteers so donations/donativos collected are used for chapter activities (shell ceremony tokens, marketing, banner, etc.).
