Beyond Even the Stars by Kevin A. Codd is not a typical Camino memoir. It is about the author’s second Camino, not his first. It is not a pilgrimage in Spain along the Camino Frances or Camino Portuguese. Rather this book recalls Codd’s unfinished camino in Belgium and France along the less traveled – especially by Americans – Vezelay Chemin. And, the author is a Catholic priest. These differences make the book a worthy read.
