Break out your bookmarks, American Pilgrims, because it is officially time for our Spring 2025 meeting of the Camino Book Club! The next title we will be reading is Kevin A. Codd’s moving 2008 memoir “To the Field of Stars: A Pilgrim’s Journey to Santiago de Compostela”.

Looking to take stock of his life, Codd walked 35 days on the Camino, meeting many fellow pilgrims, facing serious physical challenges, and altering his own perspective on matters. As a Catholic priest, Codd began with real reverence for the religious traditions surrounding Santiago and ended with a deeper understanding of pilgrimage as an evolving spiritual practice with unique contemporary relevance.

How did the Camino change your outlook on the world — and when did you notice the shift happening? What were seeking when you started — and what did you find along the Way? This online book discussion will once again be led by Kelly Murphy Mason, an active member of the Boston Chapter who walked the Camino Portugues in 2023.
