Norfolk VA: Southeast Virginia Chapter, Holiday Urban Walk on the Elizabeth River Trail

Join us for our annual along the downtown, West Ghent and Ghent portion of the Elizabeth River Trail. We’ll walk along Norfolk’s waterfront, stopping for coffee in the Chelsea section of Norfolk, and then return through the Ghent section of Norfolk, If you don’t want to walk back, you can return to your car by the Tide Light Rail Station at EVMS ($2.00 fare – cash/credit/debit). We are tentatively planning on a post walk lunch and/or libation near the end of our walk at Waterside Market.

This walk is approximately 3 1/2 miles in length to the EVMS Tide station. If you continue on and walk back, it’s about 4 miles back.

We will meet at the Harbor Park Light Rail (the Tide) Station at 9:45 so that we can begin walking at 10:00. Bathrooms are available at the nearby Norfolk Rail Station. Parking is free.
