New York NY: New York Chapter, Social Gathering and Information Exchange with Shorewalkers

Joint walk with Shorewalkers of New York and New Jersey

Are you walking the Camino this year? Are you thinking about doing so or have you walked it before? Are you curious about Shorewalkers or looking for an additional walking group for Camino training or to maintain your walking habit with a group? Or do you simply want to have a lovely evening in great company with other friendly walkers to watch the sunset on a Manhattan rooftop?

If the answer to any of the above is “yes,” join us for an info exchange & social gathering with fellow Camino enthusiasts.

Event co-hosted by the American Pilgrims of the Camino (APOC) and Shorewalkers of New York and New Jersey. Both APOC and Shorewalkers members will be in attendance to learn more about each other.

When: June 20 from 7pm
Where: Pier 57 rooftop
How to get there: By Subway: Take the A, C, E, or L train to the 14th Street (8th Avenue) station. Walk west to West Side Highway and 15th Street.
By Bus (From North/East/South): Take the M14, M20, or M11 bus to 14th Street. Walk west to the West Side Highway.
How to find us on the roof: we will be on the stadium seating that joins the two rooftop levels.

Program:

American Pilgrims of the Camino and Shorewalkers will give brief introductions of their respective organizations.

You have ample opportunity to ask questions and get tips from experienced Camino walkers and Shorewalkers, network with others and exchange ideas.

This is not a walk! We are gathering only.

This is not a pet-friendly event.

This is not a religious meeting.

You can buy food and drinks in the Pier 57 food hall on the ground floor and bring it upstairs to the roof. Or bring your own.

In case of rain, we will gather in the food hall on the ground floor.
