Join the New York City chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino to celebrate the Feast of St. James on Sunday, July 24. Our Caminito begins promptly at 9 am at West 72nd Street and Riverside Drive (meet by the Eleanor Roosevelt memorial). Join us as we walk south along the beautiful Hudson River Waterfront Parkway for a 5.7-mile stroll. In the spirit of the Camino, our day concludes with tapas and sangria at Despaña Tapas Café (408 Broome Street, NY, NY 10013).

We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes for a long trek, and sun protective attire, including sunhat, sunglasses, and sunblock. Please bring water and snacks. Public restrooms are available along the Parkway. We’ll share the Hudson River Parkway with tourists, cyclists, and strollers. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times, and adhere to pedestrian designated lanes. Avoid jaywalking, and textwalking. Cross streets along marked intersections. Kindly respect the right of other Pilgrims to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, including the wearing of face masks. If you suspect that you have COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19 or if you feel unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home.

This walk is hosted by JoJo & Nery of the NYC chapter. We are passionate about supporting fellow pilgrims on their Camino to Santiago. Our Credenciales:
