Nambe, NM: Albuquerque Chapter, Holy Thursday Pilgrimage to Chimayó

Join Richard and Pauline Rindone on Holy Thursday, April 9, 2020, as we make our way to the Santuario de Chimayó. A Holy Week Pilgrimage. We will meet at the Nambe Catholic Church between 8:30 and 9:00, and walk a moderate 8.2 miles to the Santuario — the hills are not very steep. Pack a lunch, as well as snacks and plenty of water. The Santuario is open, but most of the restaurants will be closed. The walk to Chimayó is an excellent introduction to the Camino experience and an opportunity to walk with your backpack. Transportation back to Nambe will be arranged, but we may need some additional drivers.
