Milton, MA: Boston Chapter, Great Blue Hill Training Walk

Join the American Pilgrims Boston Chapter for a moderately difficult 8-mile training walk consisting of four repetitions to/from the summit of Great Blue Hill along Summit Road at Blue Hills State Reservation.

This walk includes 1,544 feet of elevation gain/loss and is intended to simulate the climb to/descent from O Cebreiro in Galicia. Plan for 4 hours. This walk will be held rain or shine; extreme weather cancels. Participants are encouraged to don their fully loaded packs.

Meet at Blue Hills Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA 02186 (42.21832° N, 71.11852° W). The walk’s guide, Joe, will have a red bandanna and a red pack.
