Miami FL: South Florida Chapter, May Second Sunday Hike

In May, we will take a wonderful, lush, shady walk along Old Cutler Road and Matheson Hammock Trail. We will meet at Fairchild Tropical Gardens (10901 Old Cutler Rd., Miami, FL 33156). Upon arrival, enter into the free parking lot. We will walk from Fairchild Gardens north to the circle at Sunset Drive (SW 72nd St.) and loop back. On our way back, we will take a “detour” onto Matheson Hammock Park Trail. The entire walk will be 7.7 miles. Refreshments and restrooms are available bayside at the end of Matheson Hammock Trail.
