The Pass Mountain Loop hike is a beautiful loop around Usery Mountain with spectacular views all around! The trail begins at the Blevin’s Trailhead Staging area and we will walk counter clockwise to the top of Pass Mountain and around the mountain. In addition to epic views you will enjoy solitude as this hike is enjoyed by only those in-the-know. This hike is MODERATE but can be difficult if you aren’t used to walking at least 6 miles. The hike is over a variety of terrain including rock steps and a short narrow ridge so poles are recommended. Read more about the hike before signing up at your favorite source for hiking or alltrails.com.

If you would like a shuttle from the Wind Cave parking lot (shorten the hike by ~1.5 miles), please indicate in the comments when you sign-up so that we can make arrangements. Note elevation gain is the same on the longer route.

Due to the length of this hike, we recommend you bring a minimum 2 liters of water, a snack, hiking poles and, as always, your own first aid kit.

No dogs for liability reasons, and please stay home if you are feeling sick.

All our hikes and activities are planned & lead by volunteers and donativos are appreciated to support the chapter. If you are a member of the American Pilgrims on the Camino and interested in leading a hike or walk, please contact us at phoenix@americanpilgrims.org.
