Lorton VA: Capital Area Chapter, Veterans Day Hike

Join Chapter Coordinator Jim Larocco for a 6-mile hike (~3 hours) in Mason Neck State Park. The group will walk along Belmont Bay to a nature trail with lookouts at the bay and marshes. This historic location, near the mansion of George Mason and Pohick Bay, is where eagles nest in the winter. The weather is expected to be sunny and warm. All ages walk these trails, so hiking poles are optional. Chapter patches, pins and stickers will be available.
The parking fee is $10 (waived for veterans, those with VA State Park license plates, and those with an annual parking pass).
