Cape Henlopen State Park – Walking Dunes Trail: Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:30 am.
Hike approximately 5 miles on the Walking Dunes and other trails in Cape Henlopen State Park. We will hike on a mix of gravel, dirt, and sand trails. Climb up a large sand dune and explore World War II era bunkers/fire towers.
We will meet in the large Herring Point parking lot on the right. Fee season starts March 1st. Use your annual pass or pay the daily fee at the entrance. Rates are $5 for Delaware registered vehicles and $10 for out of state.
There are porta-potties in the parking lot. If you are interested in any of these hikes, please RSVP by sending an email to delmarva@americanpilgrims.org. You are welcome to bring a friend along. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at any of our events.
