Lafayette, CA: Northern California Chapter, St. James’ Day Potluck

Join us for a pilgrim potluck on Saturday, July 27th to celebrate St. James’ Day at Pam Fletcher’s backyard in Lafayette.

Let’s break bread together and toast to the patron saint of Spain! Bring appetizers, salad, main dish, snacks, desserts, or beverages to share. Bonus points for bringing Camino-inspired food and for volunteers to help with setup/cleanup. On our registration form, please add your potluck item you’d like to contribute.

We will have the opportunity to share a brief stories, reflect on our Camino experience, and catch up with Bay Area peregrinos. Our chapter library will be available for returning or borrowing items. We will also be accepting Camino-related items for the raffle which will be held at our welcome home celebration in November.

Location: For privacy reasons, the address will be provided to those who RSVP and confirm attendance.

Public Transportation: You can take BART to Lafayette, then take an Uber/Lyft or walk to Pam’s home. It’s a little over an hour’s walk and there is a big hill at the end for some bonus Camino training! Check the BART Trip Planner for the Yellow Line schedules.

Carpooling: Registered participants will have access to an online “Carpool Bulletin Board” to post a message if they need a ride or can give one. If you prefer to drive to Lafayette, there is a playing field on St. Mary’s Road where you could park and carpool.

RSVP by July 25: Please register if/when you are certain you can attend.
