Ithaca, NY. Finger Lakes Chapter. The Camino Voyage Movie plus social time

On January 16, join the Finger Lakes chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino for a screening of the 2018 documentary The Camino Voyage.

Here’s the film’s description: “A crew including a writer, two musicians, an artist, and a stonemason embark on the Camino by sea, in a traditional boat that they built themselves on an inspiring, and dangerous, 2,500 km modern-day Celtic odyssey all the way from Ireland to Northern Spain.”

Aine O’Connor of the Sunday Independent (Ireland) gave the film 5 stars, calling it “beautiful, calming and life-affirming.” Jennie Kermode writes in Eye for Film, “The Camino voyagers are not young men, but their courage, determination and love of life show that it’s never too late to embark on an adventure.”

The film will be shown at Regal Cinema in Ithaca on Thursday, January 16 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.35 each (including booking fee). For the screening to happen, we need to have 38 tickets reserved by January 6. Your credit card will be charged only if enough tickets are reserved for the screening to go ahead. So, it would be really great if you ordered a ticket or two or three now so that we have enough reservations to go ahead.
