Come along for an invigorating January 1st hike at Fort Harrison State Park.

Depending upon trail conditions we may be choosing to walk on dirt or on pavement. If you have them, bring micro-spikes/cleats, etc., just in case and if you have them bring your trekking poles for good balance.

Dress for the weather

If the entry gate is attended, you can get your new 2026 state park pass there or pay $9 for a day pass. There is a discounted yearly pass for Seniors.
